If you are looking to move beyond the box and jar for pasta night, then this class is for you. We’ll start with fresh pasta, made from scratch, along with a few great sauces that will make a real difference for dinner. It takes a little more time and effort, but you will find out just how much better and surprisingly easy making fresh pasta and homemade sauce can be. And, you will know what is in there, too.
In this daytime class, Ilene Ross, a chef and senior dining writer for CityBeat magazine, will tackle some basic pastas that you can add your own twist to and she will share a few sauces that are easy to tweak as well.
- Butternut Squash Ravioli with Herbed Browned Butter Sauce
- Fettucine with Creamy Alfredo Sauce
- Pappardelle with Fresh Chunky Marinara Sauce
