Originally from the south, Marilyn Harris returns to her roots and brings us a little New Orleans food – with her own Creole spin. Born in Mississippi and first schooled in the culinary arts in New Orleans, Harris has studied at the Cordon Bleu School in London, at La Varenne and Bistro d’Hubert academies in Paris, and with numerous chefs in Lyon. She has also been at 55KRC with her Saturday “Cooking with Marilyn” radio show (1-4pm) for many years. Many tune in to hear great recipes and talk as well as tips on some of her favorite restaurants in the city.
