The Shops at Harper's Point
Decades ago in Cincinnati and many other US cities, the downtown area was an exciting draw to the city’s business center. Many people headed to appointments with doctors, lawyers, banking, dressmakers as well as to the theater. It was a place to see and be seen. Elegant tea rooms in many of Cincinnati’s fabulous department stores were popular places to dine, socialize and then do some shopping after. Imagine reflecting back to a time when ladies got dressed up, donned their prettiest hats and wore gloves to head downtown. Retro Food – times have changed but these dainty dishes have not lost their appeal.
