The people of Japan love a good party.  Japanese holidays, seasonal events, festivals, milestones of life and get-togethers all call for a feast.

Parties in Japan are focused on food.  The Japanese rarely have house parties.  In Tokyo, people live far from each other (Tokyo is incredibly spread out) in small apartments.  People go to restaurants for a party or they head to the riverside for a BBQ.  Yen Hsieh, flavor master extraordinaire, will be here to demonstrate how easy it is to host a Japanese style dinner party. She will show how to do just that.

Saturday-night entertaining is simple with an elegant yet easy-to-prepare menu of authentic Japanese dishes.  What’s more, it’s good for you. So, let’s eat, or as the Japanese say, “Itadakimasu”!
