With a few simple tools and techniques and a pastry bag filled with buttercream icing, Angela will show you how to personalize cupcakes for any festive occasion. She will provide each student with a dozen of her delicious homemade butter cupcakes and buttercream icing, and the recipes for both. The class will enjoy a light meal as she demonstrates, then everyone will work on their own designs.

Provided for each student: 6 yellow butter cupcakes, 6 chocolate butter cupcakes, buttercream icing, and recipes Tools to bring/purchase: 2 Pastry Bags (cloth or disposable), 2 Couplers, 2 Tips (#3 & #18), Small Offset Spatula A flat container to pack a dozen cupcakes (no stacking please) to carry home your creations

Pastry Chef Angela Columbus has been working in the baking industry close to 30 years. Born and raised in Cincinnati, a graduate of the Scarlet Oaks Commercial Baking and Food Chemistry program, Angela has worked at various bakeries around town. Owner of a pastry shop, Torta for 10 years, Angela is presently working at the Bonbonerie, delighting sweet tooths citywide!
