CURT McADAMS is a local food blogger who writes and photographs for Livefire and Livefire Whisky, as well as being a featured writer for Char-Broil Live and Kingsford Charcoal's Grilling.com. Curt's recipes have been included in Char-Broil's book, America Grills, and Curt has appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer food section. Curt has competed successfully on the Kansas City Barbecue Society competition circuit and was a semi-finalist in Beringer Vineyard's Great Steak Challenge in 2010. Livefire cooking is about cooking great food using live fire and wood for flavor.
