Parker’s Blue Ash Grill's Executive Chef, Josh House, hails originally from Miamisburg, Ohio. He brings with him an extensive background in fine dining, banquet and hotel experience in Louisville, Phoenix and Cincinnati.
Josh worked at the legendary Seelbach Hilton Hotel in Louisville while in culinary school, and later returned to the Seelbach - Louisville Kentucky's only AAA 5 Diamond Award winning restaurant - to help develop a new menu that pushed the boundaries of local cuisine.
House began his study of southwestern cuisine at the Kai Restaurant at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa in Phoenix, another AAA 5 Diamond and Forbes 5 Star Award winning restaurant, where, the focus is on the Native American ingredients indigenous to the area. Just prior to joining the Parkers team, House was the Executive Chef at the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast.
House looks to seasonal and locally-sourced products when creating menu items, specials, and events for Parkers, including its award-winning brunch offerings. He hopes to convey his passion for food, especially all things pork, with each dish that leaves the kitchen. When out of the kitchen, he enjoys reading about the local and national food scene and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
